Aug. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Volkswagen AG , Europe's biggest carmaker, said global sales of its namesake brand fell 1.5 percent as markets shrank. Deliveries last month decreased to 305,000 vehicles, the Wolfsburg, Germany-based automaker said in an e-mailed statement.
