Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Boerse AG , operator of the Frankfurt stock exchange, will change the rules that govern a stock's inclusion in the benchmark DAX Index after gyrations in Volkswagen AG 's shares this week disrupted trading.

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- German stocks gained, led by shares of Continental AG, Volkswagen AG and BASF AG. The benchmark DAX Index increased 73.18, or 1.5 percent, to 4,942.48 as of 2 p.m. in Frankfurt after falling as much as 1.7 percent earlier.
